2011 Keystone Outback 270BH — Family Bunkhouse Camping with Classic Outback Comfort

The 2011 Keystone Outback 270BH is a family-friendly travel trailer built around the things that make camping easier: dedicated bunk beds, a walk-around queen bed, large U-shaped dinette, sleeper sofa, full bathroom, outside camp kitchen, and plenty of storage. At approximately 30' 4" long, it delivers sleeping room for up to eight without becoming an enormous bunkhouse.

For families shopping pre-owned, the 270BH offers a lot of usable camper for the money. Its combination of a large living-area slide, dedicated sleeping spaces, fiberglass exterior, heated and enclosed underbelly, and outdoor cooking space still makes it a practical campground setup today.

Family-Friendly Space Without Wasting Room

The Outback 270BH makes good use of its floorplan with dedicated rear bunks for the kids and a walk-around queen bed up front for Mom and Dad. The large U-shaped dinette and sleeper sofa provide additional sleeping space while giving everyone room to gather for meals, games, or a rainy campground afternoon.

The kitchen includes a two-door refrigerator, three-burner range with oven, microwave, double-bowl sink, high-rise faucet, and plenty of cabinetry. Better yet, the 270BH was equipped with an outside camp kitchen, letting you keep some of the cooking outside where it belongs.

A full bathroom provides a tub/shower with skylight, porcelain toilet, vanity, medicine cabinet, and ventilation, while the large slide helps create an open central living space. Outback's vaulted ceiling, panoramic windows, residential-style cabinetry, pleated shades, and generous storage give this 2011 camper a surprisingly comfortable interior.

Construction highlights included welded aluminum laminated flooring, welded aluminum sidewalls, block-foam insulation, a one-piece rubber roof, and a heated and enclosed underbelly protecting the tanks and valves. Exterior conveniences included a power awning, stabilizer jacks, exterior speakers, black-tank flush, LP quick-connect, pass-through storage, spare tire, and tandem EZ-Lube axles.

Who Is the Outback 270BH Perfect For?

The 2011 Keystone Outback 270BH is a great fit for families who want everyone to have a place to sleep without moving into a massive travel trailer. The dedicated bunks, private front sleeping area, U-shaped dinette, sleeper sofa, full bathroom, large slide, and outside kitchen make it particularly well suited to weekend trips and family vacations.

It's also an appealing used-RV option for buyers who appreciate a straightforward camper with proven features rather than a long list of complicated electronics.

Bunks for the kids. A queen bed for the parents. An outside kitchen for the cook. Sounds like camping to us.
