Availability of parts
While we strive to keep commonly needed parts in stock, there are times our service team must order directly from the manufacturer, which puts us at the mercy of their delivery timelines.
Shipping damages
Despite everyone’s best efforts, parts occasionally arrive damaged. When that happens we have to reorder, which delays the repair.
Incorrect parts
Manufacturers frequently change suppliers and production processes, so the “same” part can vary across brands and model years. Receiving the wrong part from a manufacturer can set a repair back.
Parts backorders
Backorders are common in the RV industry. We source from partnered suppliers wherever we can, but sometimes a backorder is industry-wide and we all have to wait for it to ship.
Appointment availability
Our service center serves Lerch RV customers and RV owners across the state and the Mid-Atlantic. During peak times, especially the weeks leading up to camping season in late April and May, technicians can be booked far in advance. The earlier you make your appointment, the quicker you get camping.
